HI EVERYONE
hi everybody out there especially to those whose have just given their aieee ,or those who are about to give the next year.this blog is for all those who have many doubts about what rank they are going to get ,where they may get a seat ?am i eligible for nits?and the related questions .we will be posting all needed information here. feel free to ask all your doubts and queries and we assure you each one of you will be answered.

alright.........seems like i will be the first here........anyways.....i m expecting a total near 250 in AIEEE 2010...... what rank should i expect to get and can i make it to meachanical engineering departments of NIT tirchy/warangal/surathkal?
ReplyDelete@akash , bro with tht score u will land up with a rank of 4000-5000 .to get mech in nitw or the like a rank of atleast 4000 is needed .in 2008 lst rnk ws around 4050 in nitsuthkal 2009 ws almst sme.

ReplyDeletebut we still feel that u shouldnt get disheartened and fill the choices properly in the counselling if luck favours you you may get something unexpected
I'm expecting a score of 130 with st category.. Which college can I xpect??

@vishwa - with that score u will get low rung nits
ReplyDelete@ akash- well eventhough all the seats are to be filled by aieee ranks still 85percent seats are for delhi candidates in dce. So if u r from delhi then i think u will get wht u want u still hv a chance if u r an outsider.bt u will need a bit of luck.as u knw getting admission in wht u wnt often needs a bit of luck

ReplyDelete@saurav u may get 16k-17k rank may get civil,metallurgy, biotech,mech at jamshdpur,surat ,etc.even production and the like branches in nitk nith etc.

ReplyDelete@atul- sry man no dce or nsit .bt will get nits like krkshtra,nagpur,rrkla,drgpr.etc.may find dfclt to gt ece mech cs bt i thnk thr is gd chnc @chinu if wth tht score u will land up with near1lkh rank .if u r frm open category dnt expect anything frm central counselling .nw there are sm gd clg all over india fr ppl like u.if u tell me whre are u from or in whch region u like to stdy i cn help u more.pls tell whr are u frm

ReplyDelete@mail yes they are still applicable as the ccb ahas said nothing about scrapping them.but please give me ur air to predict whether u will get or not because with air the prediction will be more accurate.
ReplyDelete@SHARAT with that rank u may get low branches in nits like nitraipur silchar agartala srinagar.but its still difficult even there.u can try nifft ranchi,lpu (punjab),u may get iict bahdoi,may try bit patna ,deogarhif u r in delhi or surroundings there are many colleges in delhi which take on basis of aieee ranks even through rajasthan pet special counselling ,a lot of colleges in punjab also do tht.

sorry sir ur son will not get mechanical with that rank its pretty difficult and the chances are almost nil for him to get mech anywhere through ccb.but u may try collges in punjab or rajasthan through their special counselling .
@ZAINAB plz give me ur air not state rank.
@ADITYA u will not get mech in any of the big nits .but last year in the last round the last rank in nitj for mech was around 22000.but that was just a lucky guy .even then u may get in nitsrinagar agartala patna (again if u r lucky).

sorry u may not get ece or cs. u may get branches like or metallurgy orchemical and like branches at nitk

with air 22237 u will not get into top nits.in 2008 a candidate with 25000 got int nitj in chemical.its difficult for u even in nitdrgpr.u may try for branches like civil metallurgy,biotech,biomedical,mining,.

u will get low rung branches in nits like raipur,rourkela,agartala,srinagar silchar.branches like chemistry physics in nit surat rourkela drgpr.can get civil in nit silchar
But with my state rank i should be able to get one of them with the slide in ranks...
ReplyDelete@mail -see,what we had posted was of the preliminary rounds.not abt internal sliding.anythng can happen in the internal sliding .i knw ths guy who got nitsil.last year in civil with rnk 24000 but later in internal sliding he got into ece whch nobody expected.internal sliding rslts cant be predicted umay gt or may not.let me say something seeing the trend till now with ur rnk hs quota its dfclt to gt ece or cs bt if u r lucky u will gt wht u wnt .bst of luck

@nikita It depends on the paper actually.a rank of upto 30,000 is considered good for obc candidates. What is your score?
